6 Fun Voice Commands & Easter Eggs That You Can Try With Google Now!

Hey, Wazzup guys? My name is Akash and today I’m back with another fun post, this time, I’m going to show you guys 6 Fun Voice Commands & Easter Eggs that You Can Do With Google Now. Keep in mind that although all of these are voice commands, you can try most of them by entering them in the search bar as well, though I do recommend doing the voice commands for a more fun experience as Google Now does replies back with some hilarious answers.

So if you’re interested in these types of post and want me to do more, Make sure to comment down below. And without any further ado, Let’s start!

1: Okay Google, Make Me A Sandwich

Okay Google, Make Me A Sandwich

So to start of our list, Let’s try the funniest one from the bunch! In the Google app activate the voice command by either saying “Okay, Googe” Or taping at the little Mic Icon at the right corner of the search bar and say “Make Me A Sandwich“. After saying that, Google Now will reply with either, “What? Make It Yourself!” Or “Poof, You’re A Sandwich” Both of which are Hillary’ous.

2: Okay Google, Do A Barrel Roll!

Okay Google, Do A Barrel Roll!

Now, this One’s pretty insane! It works both on PC & in the App and is a cool reference to the ever-so-popular old Nintendo title “Star Fox 64” In which the character in the game is said to do a barrel roll to avoid an incoming obstacle. The scene later became a legendary meme thanks to the internet. Anyways, to activate this easter egg open the Google Now app or visit the google website and Say Do A Barrel Roll After searching that Google will rotate the whole search result by 360-degrees making a barrel roll effect. Though keep in mind don’t watch the whole rotation a lot as it may cause some motion sickness!

3: Okay Google, What Does The Fox Say?

Okay Google, What Does The Fox Say

This easter egg is a reference to the Norwegian comedy duo Ylvis’ smash hit “The Fox. Though I don’t know if this one works On PC but I’m pretty sure it works fine on both Android & Ios. Like always, to trigger this open the google app and activate the voice command and say What Does The Fox Say Remember to use “Say” instead of “Says” all you’ll not get the easter egg. Anyways, after saying this the Google Now will reply withHatee-hatee-hatee-ho!” Asking again will give you a different answer Wa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pow! Both of which sounds very funny especially with that voice.

4: Okay Google, Who Are You?

Okay Google, Who Are You

This one is more of a funny easter egg than a reference, though this one only works on the mobile app. Ask Google Now, Who Are You? and the app will response, Searching for oneself can take a lifetime, but a good place to start is classic rock Which is pretty funny cuz I also like classic rock! Google Now will also bring up search results for the rock band The Who.

5: Okay Google, What Is The Answer What is the answer to life, the universe, and everything?

Okay Google, What Is The Answer What is the answer to life, the universe, and everything

This one is more of a reference/easter than a voice command and it does work on both Desktop & Mobile. Anyways, Asking Google Now What Is The Answer What is the answer to life, the universe, and everything?” Will bring up the calculator in the first search result with the number 42 on it. Those of you who have no idea what this is, It’s a reference to the popular The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy Series Created by Douglas Adams, In which In a supercomputer named Deep Thought was asked the same question Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything” Which took Deep Thought 7½ million years to compute the answer which turns out to be 42.

6: Okay Google, LUMOS!

Okay Google, LUMOS!

This one only works on Mobiles & tablets but is a very cool little Harry Porter easter egg as most of you can already tell by the title, Activating Google Now and saying Lumos will trigger the flashlight on your device with an “NOX” written on it. Which is a clear reference to the Harry Porter series in which the word Lumos is a spell which is used to produce a blinding flash of bright white light from the tip of Harry’s Magic Wand.

And That’s It!
