How To Play YouTube Videos In Background For FREE Using Suamp!
Have you ever stumbled upon a great song or a lecture on YouTube that you love to hear but you need to do some stuff like texting or FB at the same time? It’s most likely the case you wished that somehow you could play the Video in the background (audio playback) without pausing the video. This happens to me all the time since one of my favorite song playlists is on YouTube, Not to forget I love hearing podcast while I work.
Although Youtube Red does seem to solve this problem with native Audio Playback support, It charges a monthly fee for it which for me is a bit of a bummer since I can hardly pay my rent.

Anyways, If you want to know how you can play your favorite Youtube videos in the background without subscribing to Youtube RED here’s a quick little guide for you! I’m using this app called “Suamp” which is other than its name, An awesome all around audio player which supports all of the audio formats like:

But the thing that cuaght my attention was Native Youtube Video/Audio Playback support. Yes, This little app can not only play all your music, But also Youtube live streams in the background.
This is a god sent to me cuz usually I have like Three Different Music Players running in the background for different songs & podcasts.
Seriously, this app sorts things out since I no longer need to Download The Videos in order to listen to them.

Anyways, I think you’ve heard enough of me. Now if you’re interested in this app you can download it From My Google Drive, Or from Google Play Store both are free, Though I do wonder it won’t be long before Google removes this app from PlayStore since it is indirectly messing up with YouTube Red. Part of the same reason they removed TubeMate.
After downloading & installing the app it’s pretty much self-explanatory.
1: Open the Suamp app.
2: Login to your Google Account from the right menu.
3: Choose which account you want to add. (Only one at a time)
4: Search for any of your favorite videos on Youtube.
5: Choose the video you wanna play.
6: The video will be added to your playlist and then will play in the background.
You can also make your own custom playlist with a combination of both your offline songs & Youtube videos, as well as search for public playlists. The app also has an “Audio Effects” tab which can be used to fine tune your music.
